The Rimbey Rodeo have been a major sponsor for a number of years. They host a CARA rodeo every year the second weekend of July. This year's dates are July 10 - 12th.

Gimlet is aware of the busy rodeo weekend coming up on the same weekend as Gimlet. We will do our best to accommodate the best we can, however we might not be able to please everyone. Therefore, if you are in a timed event and can enter Saturday please do!! Sunday is a very long day with all the roughstock events. We will be limiting the amount of ropers and barrel racers on Sunday. The bonus for entering on Saturday is no GATE ADMISSION!! ☺️ On Sunday you will have to pay a $5 fee to get in. All age categories in barrel racing will kick off first thing at 2:00pm on Saturday and 12:00pm on Sunday starting with the ladies and working our way down.
