I hope you have the courage to build a life that you are proud of.

I hope when the world throws challenges your way you fall seven times & stand up eight.

I hope you speak your truth even if your voice shakes.

I hope you know that if the path was clear - it was someone else’s.

& I hope you don’t play small when you were meant to move mountains.

We are heading into our SIXTH year of homeschooling & privately educating 🎓

Year SIX. WOW.

Has it been easy? NOPE.
Did we grow up like this? NOPE.
Do we regret it? NOPE.

This year has given us every reason to quit - so many mountains to climb in 2025.

It also gave me more clarity than ever on where my values lie, what my non negotiable are & why I’m doing this.

Here’s to year SIX with my sweet humans ❤️

July ✨

Its no secret that this has not been the year that I’d planned.

A brain injury wasn’t in my plans.

Months of being sick with no end in sight, specialists and appointments on repeat everyday, losing all of the things that I love to do in one crash, hearing the words “we don’t know how long it will take your brain to heal” over and over.

Its been a devastating few months and it will continue to be this way for many more.

In the midst of the chaos there has also been so many blessings. I woke up with a brain injury - but I still get to be their mom. I get to watch them spend the summer doing new things like summer hockey, soccer, baseball teams, ultimate frisbee, golfing every week & swimming lessons. I get to watch our family take them places & enjoy every second of them. I get to spend my days loving them.

It’s been a very hard year & it will continue to be.

& that’s ok.

We don’t get to choose if bad things will happen to us. We do get to choose to keep showing up, to keep pushing forward & to keep finding the joy in everyday.

Here’s to another month in the books even though it didn’t go how I’d imagined 🥂
