When we were in Tuktoyaktuk yesterday, we got to visit Noksana Mushing Tours with owner, Bruce Noksana. What a treat to watch him hook up his dogs and getting ready for their daily exercise by pulling a skidoo! Their excitement was loud and they were happy knowing they were going out for a long run! Give him a call if you would like to join him on a full day tour being pulled in a sled by dog team!

We drove the Inuvik -Tuktoyaktuk Highway today. It took 2.5 hrs in blowing snow conditions. Visibility was 1/2 mile or less. The distance was 148 Km. Temperature was -18° and rose to a balmy -16° in Tuk. The strong wind cooled the temperature considerably.

Day 5 was spent downtown on Main Street seeing many of Inuvik’s fine people. Thank you everyone who showed up and purchased products. Tomorrow, we will be at the Arctic Market at the Complex until 2:30pm, then back to Main Street for the rest of the afternoon until 5:30. If you can’t find us, call 1-780-218-3232
