2 spots that I’d recommend for all you can eat KBBQ in right bow 🫡

(South) introduced an AYCE menu. $42.95/adult on weekdays, $44.95/adult during weekends

has AYCE, buffet style. $55/person

Both good options offering AYCE but with a slightly different vibe and pace. Save and share with your KBBQ date!! Which one would you try first?

Discover Edmonton’s Newest AYCE Korean BBQ: BB2

Edmonton’s all-you-can-eat scene keeps expanding, and BB2 Korean BBQ & Buffet has entered with what might be the city’s largest AYCE KBBQ setup. Their new location inside West Edmonton Mall introduces a buffet-style Korean BBQ experience - something we don't see often in Edmonton. This marks BB2’s second Edmonton location, with their original in Century Park. Pricing is $55 per adult, 50% off for kids aged 4–9, and free for children under 3....

Dare I say that this has gotta be the best and biggest AYCE Korean BBQ in right now? 👀

If you haven’t heard yet, just opened a second location in West Edmonton Mall and the space is massive. If you plan to go:
• The price is $55/adult, kids 4-9 y/o are 50% off. Free for kids 3 and under!
• No reservations, 2 hour seating limit
• They’re set up as a self serve all you can eat buffet and there is no shortage in selections - from premium meats to seafood, hot foods, sushi and more! Grab food at your leisure and grill/enjoy at the table.

Overall, I was quite impressed with the food and meats! I don’t often go for AYCE but this spot is definitely worth a try. How can you not enjoy unlimited galbi, sushi and seafood? I hope the quality sticks around here cause it was def a highlight compared to others. Before you leave, try their touchless deodorizer too. Find them on the upper level, next to the Starlight Casino at WEM.

Brunch inspo featuring 3 underrated brunch spots in Edmonton & area (I.e. St. Albert) that I would recommend 🍳🤗

inside - come for freshly baked goods but also the delicious breakfast sandwiches on the weekends. I love a good flight and the business class flight features all 3 of their breakfast sandwiches, each tasty in their own distinct way.

- a place that I will surely have to revisit as their brunch was great. I got the porchetta eggs Benny and the potato pave was soooo good.

- a pop up that was at but closed for now, still going to share it and suggest you save it in case they ever have any upcoming dates cause I loved their spud bowl and honey nut cruller.. and oh ya $2 mimosas 😝

Tried .edm, the new dumpling restaurant in Edmonton. They’re a chain from Montreal & here are my honest thoughts 🥟

I went in with high hopes thinking it was gonna be like Xiao Long Bao, but it is not… so “soup dumpling” in the title felt a little misleading 😅 oops

Anywho, their dumplings are handmade and you can choose from a ton of different filling options - veg, seafood and meat choices available. They come steamed or pan fried and you can also combine two flavours in one order, which is great if you want to try more.

I tried the (1) pork & cabbage, (2) shrimp, pork and chive as steamed dumplings and (3) black fungus, zucchini & vermicelli and (4) chicken & coriander as pan-fried dumplings. I liked the steamed dumplings and while most of the flavours felt mild, I preferred the pork & cabbage filling most. They had some juiciness to them but the order felt a little inconsistent, perhaps cause they’re new and handmade to order. The pan fried dumplings were burnt which was disappointing 😭

Also got the hot & sour soup, which was only $4 - but I’d pass on it next time. I thought the Jasmine soy milk was really good though.

All in all: affordable, decent variety, and cool to have a dedicated dumpling spot but not a wow for me. I might give it another shot once they settle in.

Share with a dumpling lover and let me know your thoughts in the comments 😋

PSA there is a ✨new mochi series at .ca! There are 3 flavours to choose from:
🥭mango coconut mochi
🫐blueberry mochi yogurt
🍓strawberry mochi yogurt

My fave was the mango coconut mochi, soo good! The blueberry and strawberry were more smoothie like and tart cause of the yogurt but not bad! I quite enjoy mochi in my drinks. Which one would you try first?
