Okay… I think Little Dippers might be here to stay. 👀

I knew these would be fun for back-to-school, but I did NOT expect how many people would come up to me at the market saying, “I’m here for the Little Dippers!”

So now I need to know…

Have you tried them yet? And should they become a regular at Gabby’s?

Because I’m thinking I may need to make a few more next time. 😂

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve been at a market and I’m excited to see everyone again! ❤️

Apparently tonight we decided to literally chase the sunset. 😂❤️

And somewhere between running down the beach trying to catch it and finally sitting still for a minute, I had a little time to think…

I’ve been doing a LOT of thinking lately about the bakery, markets, what fall and winter might look like, and where I want to take all of this next.

And then today I heard things like…

“I’m so excited.”
“I never get to have samples!”
“I can actually have EVERYTHING here?!”

I watched someone come in to pick up a good sized order… and then excitedly keep adding things because they kept finding more that they wanted to try. 😂

Those moments get me every single time.

Running a small business can have you questioning approximately 472 things in the span of one week 😂 but days like today remind me exactly why I started this.

Creating a place where someone with celiac or who eats gluten-free can walk in, try a sample, look at an entire case and not have to ask what they can have.

They can just be excited about food. ❤️

So before I disappear into a weekend of sunsets, hot tubs and time with my mom and daughter… thank you.

Thank you for coming through my doors, driving ridiculous distances, telling your friends, getting excited over cinnamon buns, and reminding me why I do this.

I still have some figuring out to do for this next season of Gabby’s… but I know one thing for sure:

This part matters. 💕

🎃 Well… pumpkin season has officially entered the bakery.

Fresh out of the oven this morning:

🤎 Pumpkin Cream Cheese Streusel Muffins
🍫 Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins — Dairy Free!

And coming from someone who really only gets excited about pumpkin when it involves pie… these are pretty darn good. 😂

They’re available in the bakery today while they last!

And yes, we’re OPEN regular hours for the long weekend. 🙌

How is it September already?! 😳

With school starting next Wednesday, I snuck in a girls day with my youngest before we’re back to lunches, backpacks and all the usual chaos. ❤️

This summer absolutely flew by, but I’m pretty grateful I’ve been able to slow down a little and enjoy some of it with my family.

Now it’s back to bakery mode! 😂 Long weekend goodies are on the agenda, AND next Wednesday I’m finally back at South Osborne Farmers’ Market after taking a few weeks off!

The bakery in Elma will still be OPEN while I’m at the market. 🙌

Now the real question… what should I bring to South Osborne?! 👀

Funny story… 😂

Back in 2019/2020, someone looked at my box of 5,000 tart pans and asked:

“What are you EVER going to do with 5,000 tart pans?”

My response?

“Watch me.” 😏

Well… I did. 😂

I made it through all 5,000, bought countless more since, and apparently decided it was finally time to commit to another full box.

So here we are…

5,000 more tart pans.

Nameless person…You know who you are. 👀😂

500+ gluten-free hot dog buns later… 😅🌭

Pipe. Press. Rise. Bake. Repeat. And repeat. And repeat. 😂

When your dough is way too soft and sticky to shape like traditional bread dough, you improvise — piping bags to the rescue!

This was definitely one of the biggest bun orders I’ve ever taken on, and seeing ALL of them finally baked, sliced, packed and ready to go was a pretty darn good feeling. ❤️

I don’t think I’ll ever look at a hot dog bun the same way again. 😂

Wellllll… apparently Friday night sure was PIZZA NIGHT! 😂🍕🍕

Remember yesterday when I said the pizzas were restocked?

Yeahhhh… you guys nearly cleaned me out already. 😂❤️

I even had a customer drive 1.5 hours from Ontario to come check us out and leave with TWO pizzas baked to go! 🥹

There are still a few kicking around today:

Then turn it into a sandwich. 🍕🥪

And OMG. 🤤

As if our pizza buns weren’t dangerous enough already 😂

Seriously though… you NEED to try this.

You can’t even tell it’s gluten-free. 😉
