Growing on Gundungurra country.๐Ÿชƒ We grow seasonal, chemical-free flowers for floristry, events and local flower-lovers. We don't spray or treat our flowers to ensure each bloom is safe for you

and healthy for our environment. Flowers are a gift of sustainable happiness, so we'll also never deliver flowers to you wrapped in cellophane or other plastics. Contact us to see how we can help you out with flowers for an upcoming event or celebration. c o m

We also raise ducks as part of our regenerative agriculture practices and take fresh duck eggs to local markets and suppliers. Our quackers provide one of the fertiliser layers in our raised garden beds. We love our ducks for their flower power, but also for their eggs with the bigger yolks that make for sensational baking. Get in touch if you'd like to source some local duck eggs for your baking needs.

As we move into winter, our locally-grown, seasonal flowers change. We'll have more proteas and native flowers and foliage, and our bouquet colours are more subtle.

What I love about winter in particular, is the gorgeous foliage we have to support the larger protea blooms. From beautiful hakea nuts and foliage, to ferns and eucalyptus of different colours and tones, they bring the texture of the outside world into your home. Come down and visit us this long weekend. Find us at Stall #179 from 7am until 11:30am Saturday. ๐Ÿ˜€

Over the past week I've been putting cages around our young proteas and native plants. I was doing well with it a year ago before we made the decision to move, but it dropped down the priority list after that. The plants I did manage to cage are easily double the size of the uncaged plants that have survived. Unfortunately, we lost quite a few young plants to the rabbits, and some to the big-foot roos as well. ๐Ÿ˜…

It was painful seeing the damage to the plants and knowing we couldn't prioritise caging them, but now I am making time for it. I've made a bit of progress, and it's been motivating seeing the first buds forming on lots of our plants. It's such a good feeling watching something youโ€™ve planted grow and thrive, right!?!?!!

To all our valued customers,

We'd like to let you know that our prices will be increasing from this weekend. We haven't raised our prices in three years, but the price of many of our inputs to grow and sell our flowers have increased. Our seed and plug purchase prices have increased, our transport and fuel prices have increased, our wages costs have increased, and our fertiliser and supplies costs have increased. Until now we have been absorbing these additional costs, but we now need to raise our prices to keep the business sustainable.

We still believe that our flowers represent exceptional value, and we hope you do too. Our flowers are grown using organic principles (without any harmful sprays or pesticides), they are seasonal and properly conditioned to ensure they are long-lasting in the vase, and they are as fresh as fresh can be.

From this weekend, our new bouquet prices will be:

Posy - $15
Regular bouquet - $30
Premium bouquet - $59

Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support.

Fiona
