Today, we celebrate the Harvest Moon by harvesting spaghetti squash, patty pans, corn, and cantaloupe (all yellow! 😆) and then spending the afternoon playing card games as a family. (A little relaxing time before the Harvest and Heritage Fair tomorrow)

We'll be at the Nakusp Harvest & Heritage Fair market this Sunday in the arena parking lot!
Looking to stock up? Order your bulk fruit ahead of time, and we'll make sure to bring enough for you.

We'll have:
- Bartlett pears ($4/lb)
- Seedless grapes ($4/lb)
- McIntosh and Boskoop apples ($3/lb)
- Italian prune plums ($4/lb)
- Home-canned goods like crabapple jelly, apple juice and chicken broth
- dehydrated teas, herbs and edible confetti

Everything is grown organically right here on our farm in Fauquier. Our fruit is hand-picked and carefully sorted, so you get only the best — no windfalls or seconds! We keep those for ourselves to dehydrate and can for winter.

It's pear time! Our organic Bartlett pears are huge this year and still very firm (no risk of getting squishy insides). Place your order for organic, local pears, seedless grapes and Italian prune plums now! We pick them carefully by hand and sort them into trays to ensure you only get the best selection - the rest are canned for the winter.
Pick up in Fauquier at the farm or in Nakusp Thursdays 4:30-5:30 at NSS (orders must be received by 5pm on Wednesday by emailing or calling/texting [email protected] or 250-265-1090). Pickup in Burton is also possible.

Come find us at the Nakusp Farmers Market this Saturday, September 19. If you want to order bulk items, send me a message by Friday afternoon and I'll make sure to pre-package it for you.
