This Saturday I will be set up with all our usual wares at the Field Farmer’s Market - Marché Fermier Field 🌸 it’s the first one of the season!

We will also have some annual + perennial plants for sale 🪴

Also a small amount of these lovely spring boxes + soap mixer boxes 🌱

If you would like to reserve one please let me know ahead of time if not it’s first come first serve!

The market is located at our lovely outdoor covered rink here in Field 📍 65 jarbeau road just turn right at the store then left

First rainbow of the season tonight 🌈
This one feels special as my gramma has been heavy on my mind all day. We lost her suddenly this past January.

It’s hard not to constantly think of her this spring because the lupins have been going crazy this year. All the lupins here on our farm came from her. She collected the seed from her home in Newfoundland and I planted them in various places around here. A little piece of her and NFLD in every bloom. I think moving forward my lupin seed will be renamed in memory of her.

In the spirit of creating good karma & being thankful for the support we have received for our stand we would like to pay it forward.

If you know of a family in need who is capable of growing a garden we would like to donate this bundle of plants so they can feed their family & experience growing a garden.

Our ideal family is:
A family with multiple members especially young kids who can learn from the experience
A family who may be going through some sort of hardship
A family with a yard to support a garden
A family committed to caring for the garden
And a family local to Field or close by

We received a very generous seed donation to the community seed library today. If you are someone who needs a little help starting your garden or want to experiment with something new come check it out.

The seeds in the library are free to do as many exchanges as you want. If you are not coming to do an exchange we ask that you limit yourself to one pack per visit (or a couple seeds of each variety) to make sure there is seeds for others.

Thank you to the great people in our community who help keep this going. The act of growing your own food is one of the most liberating things and there is so much to learn from it. 🌱💗

Did you visit our farmstand and forget to pay? We got your note. We hope that there will be an incoming e transfer but doesn’t feel like there will be.

Feels a bit gross if this is what some local thief does to us feels a bit personal… Eggs & several plants and our signs missing this morning. No payments of any kind.

You are stealing all our hard work from our little family, members of your community and it feels really gross to think we walk amongst each other.

The thefts have been a bit out of control this year already.

We have some new cameras we are installing with live feeds to our phone.
