Who likes Chocolate Zucchini Muffins ? 🙋

Here's a great recipe using our Cold Pressed Sunflower Oil. It's a double batch 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🌻

Ingredients 📝

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1½ cups sugar
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
4 eggs
1 cup cold-pressed sunflower oil
1 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups finely grated zucchini, lightly squeezed
1 cup chocolate chips, optional

We picked up the zucchini from Seven Acres Family Farm 🥒

Instructions 📝

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir just until combined.

Fold in the grated zucchini and chocolate chips.
Divide into muffin cups.

Bake 18–22 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Let cool for about 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.

Morning Field Update 🌻

Once the sunflowers finish flowering, each tiny floret in the centre can develop into a sunflower seed! Thanks to the busy bees! 🐝

The spiral pattern helps pack thousands of individual seeds into one sunflower head.

A big storm rolled in last night 🌂 Including hail!!
Over 1 inch from 5pm yesterday 🌧

Thankfully there wasn't any damage to our Sunflowers 🌻🙂

We tried getting our wheat off but it looks like we will have to wait a bit for things to dry up 🌾

Looking for something light and tasty for this hot day? 🍅 🥒 🌻

Ingredients 📝

2 cups cucumbers, sliced
1½ cups tomatoes, chopped
2–3 tbsp Cold-Pressed Sunflower Oil
½ tsp dried oregano (or basil)
Pinch of salt

Instructions 📝

Toss cucumbers and tomatoes in a bowl.
Drizzle with Cold- Pressed Sunflower Oil.
Sprinkle in oregano and salt.

Mix and let sit 5–10 minutes.
We like to put it in the fridge for a bit!
