📣📣As our monthly fundraiser falls during Ramadan, this gathering holds special meaning for us. Ramadan is the month of giving, and community, and a time when we come together to support those facing hardship and to multiply our acts of charity.
🌙🕌📿As this fundraiser takes place during Ramadan, we are embracing the spirit of the month through additional efforts to give back, including iftar meal donations and food bank contributions, each with a dedicated space at the event for those who wish to participate in these additional opportunities.
💰💰This Ramadan, we hope to come together to provide 250 Iftar meals to families in Gaza. With each meal costing just $3, even the smallest contribution can make a meaningful difference.
💎 💎 We are also hoping you can join us in supporting Fredericton Food Bank this Ramadan by bringing non-perishable items such as canned goods and essential grocery items with you to the fundraiser. All donations will provide essential support to individuals and families in need within our own community.
🍵🥮🍝 Our fundraiser remains exactly as it has always been. Guests can continue to support by purchasing food at the event or by making a direct monetary donation, and all proceeds from those food sales and direct donations will go toward supporting families in Gaza and Sudan. The additional Ramadan initiatives are separate, and do not change where the core fundraiser proceeds go.
