There was a time when milk didn’t come in a plastic jug from a grocery store.
It came from the cow standing in your barn.
You milked her.
You strained it.
You cooled it.
And that cream rose right to the top. 🤎

So what is raw milk?
it’s milk that hasn’t been pasteurized. It comes from the cow and, when properly handled, goes from the udder to the milk pail to the fridge.
Raw milk naturally contains milk fat, protein, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, vitamin B12 and other naturally occurring nutrients.

And that beautiful cream line?😍

Good milk starts long before the milking machine comes on.

Healthy cows.
Good feed and pasture.
Clean udders.
Clean equipment.
Clean hands.
Proper cooling.
Good animal care
Knowing the cow.
Knowing what she eats.
Knowing how she’s cared for.
Knowing how the milk was collected.
And knowing exactly where the food on your table came from.

Raw milk isn’t a trend to us.
It’s part of learning the old ways, raising food with intention, and getting a little closer to the source.
And honestly…

I’ll take a warm barn, a happy cow and a jar of fresh milk over a grocery store milk aisle any day. 🐄
