Happy New Year!!!

Another rollercoaster ride over, but we have some exciting news!

Roland and I are proud to announce, that after 27yrs of owning Sunrise Alpacas, our daughter Olivia has finally taken over ownership of the farm! 🥳🎉 We dont have any recent photos of her with the alpacas, because she's the one that normally takes all the photos 😅

We will still be around and attending the shows, we just wanted to share our happy news with everyone.

We would like to wish everyone a Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas☃️Thank you all for another amazing year ❄

After an amazing week visiting friends and family in Ontario. We are happy to welcome Coco and Ivy to Sunrise Alpacas!

A huge thank you to Ruby's Acres Alpaca Farm. Thank you so much for being so friendly, easy to work with and extremely patient with us, while we tried to find the time to come pick up these gorgeous girls.

Also a thank you to Sutton Farms(Nacona) Ltd for letting us keep the girls in your barn for a few hours until it was cool enough to make the journey. The barn cats were definitely plotting a take down haha.

Now excuse us while we go catch up on some needed sleep 😴 😴

And just like that the 2025 shearing season is over! A little rainy🌧 but but we got it done. Now everyone is out in the feilds enjoying the lush green grass, and their new haircuts.

Alicia is trying out her new fly mask, she's styling it wonderfully. She says it is a little big but nothing a quick trip to the sewing machine won't fix.

Can't wait to get all of their wonderful fleeces to the mill and see what amazing yarns and everything else we get back
