The Canteen at the Gardens

We are thinking of hosting Tea Making workshops - we have the recipes made for three teas that can be made from ingredients in the gardens.

Would you pay $5 for a pot of freshly made mint tea? We seem to be paying $5 for bad coffee so...we were hoping that we could make our space ino an indoor/outdoor tea shop.

We even have a couple of recipes and work shops on making salads from the ingredients found in the gardens....would you come for a fresh salad and a cup of tea?

We are hoping that you'll come out this year and partake in some of the workshops we have planned and the gardening - we gare going to be looking for 16 more Raised beds for this spring so that we can grow more food in an urban environment for those who don't drive meaning we will have 30 raised beds for you to garden in!

We have some planting to do and a few sidewalk stones to deal with, but it's amazing the difference that 5 days makes.

Beginning July 3rd the Canteen at the Gardens will be open for the summer.

The Canteen will be open from 12 Noon until 7:30PM Tuesday to Saturday and from 11AM - 4PM On Sundays.

Help our summer students become good at cooking, foord service and customer service by coming down and making them work!

There will be Freezies and Ice Cream Novelties along with Candie Bags for the kids to buy.

We are also looking for one more summer student for 10 hours of work...If you know someone that likes people and is a team player, send them our way! We have 4 out of 5 positions filled!
