From the Sudbury Market to Taste of Asia and now off to Onaping Falls Summerfest…we are making the most of this beautiful Saturday! 😍

Today’s Taste of Asia highlights:

🥟 Dumplings from Tokyo MNL
🍢 A delicious grilled meat skewer from the Vietnamese Association of Canada
🥢 Pork shumai from Titianas Filipino Food
🍡 Mochi from Le Petit Gâteau

Everything was so good, but those pork siumai and those dumplings might be living rent-free in my head for a while. 🤤

SUDBURY BESTIES! 🚨

Hazel & Rosemary Micro Bakery & Kitchen just launched a brand new sourdough pastry lineup and we had to do a taste test. 🤤

We tried:
🥐 Croissants
🌿 Morning Bun
🍓 Rhubarb Danish

The verdict?

Richard’s winner was the Morning Bun. The sourdough dough paired with the orange cardamom was absolutely his thing.

My favourite was the Rhubarb Danish. The rhubarb topping had the perfect balance of sweet and tart, and the pastry itself was buttery, flaky, and everything you want from a Danish.

As for Autym? She would happily accept a standing order of croissants every morning for the rest of her life. 😂

Honestly, there wasn’t a bad choice in the bunch. If you’re heading to the Sudbury Market this morning, definitely stop by Hazel & Rosemary and treat yourself to one (or three).

The protein girlies demanded answers, so naturally I crossed the border and bought more cottage cheese. 🫡🧀

For Part 3, we put these American brands to the test:

🇺🇸 Wegmans
🇺🇸 Mulu
🇺🇸 Trader Joe’s
🇺🇸 Good Culture

The verdict 👇🏻

🥇 Kirkland remains the undefeated champion

🥈 Wegmans was the best of the American brands. Great flavour, great consistency, and honestly the closest to what I’m looking for in a cottage cheese.

🥉 Good Culture came in second. It was good, but had a slightly tangy/sour taste that wasn’t bad, just different.

😬 Mulu was my least favourite. Zero stars from me…but plot twist: Richard ate the entire container and he doesn’t even like cottage cheese. It also had the highest protein content of any tub cottage cheese I’ve tried so far.

💔 Trader Joe’s broke my heart. I love almost everything Trader Joe’s makes, but this might be the first product I’ve tried that I wouldn’t buy again.

After tasting cottage cheese from Canada and the U.S., Kirkland is STILL sitting on the throne. 👑

Now tell me…what cottage cheese am I missing? At this point I’m committed to the science.

This is your reminder to book the appointment you’ve been avoiding.

I got my reminder for a Pap test six months ago and immediately decided that sounded like a future Randee problem. 😅

Well, future Randee finally dealt with it today.

Nobody loves these appointments, but they’re important. My sister lost her battle with cervical cancer, and if there’s one thing her story taught me, it’s that taking care of ourselves can’t always wait until later.

So if you’ve been putting off your Pap test, mammogram, bloodwork, dental cleaning, eye exam, or any other appointment you’ve been meaning to book…consider this your sign.

And yes, I absolutely rewarded myself with Starbucks Canada afterwards because being a responsible adult deserves a little treat. ☕️❤️

Okay, I genuinely wasn’t expecting a package today. 😂📦

I opened the door, saw a box, and immediately started wondering if I’d forgotten about something I ordered.

Plot twist: it was My Joyburst💙

A little while ago they reached out after seeing my videos and sent me some products to try. I was already so excited and honestly thought that was the end of it.

Then another package showed up!

This time they sent over their Renew hydration drinks in Peach, Watermelon, and Strawberry Lemonade, and I can’t wait to start trying them.

One of my favourite parts of creating content is discovering products I genuinely enjoy and then getting to share them with all of you. The fact that a brand notices that and keeps the conversation going is pretty cool.

Okay besties, after trying McDonald’s new craft sodas last week, the team at McDonald’s Canada kindly sent me a gift card so I could try the refreshers and cloud iced coffees too! 🥤

Mission accomplished. 😍

The Sprite Berry Bliss is STILL my overall winner. That blue raspberry flavour is just ridiculously good.

But the Mango Pineapple Refresher absolutely jumped into second place for me. Refreshing, fruity, not overly sweet, and those popping pearls are so fun. 🍍🥭

Richard also gave the Sugar-Free Cloud Iced Coffee a big thumbs up! ☁️☕

I never thought I’d be the girl posting about getting her nails done…but here we are. 😂💅

I’ve often avoided nail salons because I keep my nails short and practical. Between work, gardening, coaching, cooking, and content creation, long nails just aren’t for me.

What I loved about gloss.theory was that they actually listened. Instead of trying to convince me to get something different, they took the time to understand my lifestyle and helped me find a solution that worked for me.

The result? Stronger natural nails, a beautiful design, and nails that still fit my everyday life.

A huge thank you to Sol and Karina for the warm welcome and for creating such a comfortable experience. ♥️
