“Hi I am a Possum , I know I don’t look glamorous, but trust me, I’m one of the unsung heroes of the night. I’m a possum, and while you sleep, I’m busy cleaning up the neighborhood.

I can eat up to 2,000 ticks in one night — yes, the same ticks that spread dangerous diseases. I snack on bugs, pests, and even snakes… venomous ones too. My body is built tough enough to shrug off bites from rattlesnakes and coral snakes, and believe it or not, my blood has been used by scientists to develop life-saving treatments for humans.

So if you see me wandering around, remember: I’m not the enemy. I’m the quiet little guardian helping make the world a safer place — one midnight snack at a time. 🐾💚”
