Wow! Can you believe it has been one year already?! ❤️

Another AMAZING Canadian product — and Nova Scotian to boot! 🇨🇦

We drove to beautiful Margaree, Cape Breton, to visit the Larch Wood Enterprises factory firsthand and see how these incredible boards are made.

Now available at Saffron + Salt, these cutting boards are seriously stunning. Each one is handcrafted with the most discriminating eye, coming together like a beautiful patchwork quilt.

But they’re not just beautiful. End-grain boards are self-healing and can help extend the life of your knives. 🔪

Larchwood boards are being discovered around the world, yet they’re still handmade by local craftspeople in Margaree, Cape Breton.

A true Nova Scotian — and Canadian — success story.

They’re new to Saffron + Salt and we couldn’t be happier. You could say we’re “all cut up” about it. ❤️

Inspiration from our transitional table 🍂

Crisp mornings followed by sunny afternoons. Warm umber and golden yellows, accented with deep, rich greens.

This table not only transitions from summer to fall, but from one style to another. We’ve blended new pieces seamlessly with treasured favourites from my grandmother’s china cabinet — a mix of old and new that feels collected, personal, and timeless.

A reminder that beautiful tables don’t have to match. They just have to tell a story.

Cottage cooking is the BEST- fresh air, fresh ingredients and everyone working up big appetites.

I was worried about using my WHITE OXO Good Grips spatula with my jammy blueberries, but it cleaned up perfectly!

Easy cleanup MIGHT be even better than a delicious meal! 😉
