We appreciate the love you’ve shown the Golden Beet Salad. There is a lot (a lot) of prep that goes into this salad but I really wanted it on the menu. It has been a favourite of mine for a long time at home.

Our Golden Beet Salad is made with beautifully roasted beets all done in-house. We treat the beet as the superstar it is and then we team it up with cubed apples, green onion, endive, and roasted feta, all in a lemon chilli dressing.

The Hombre continues to be a fan favourite as it turns out you can’t get enough of that slow-roasted pork shoulder. That combined with the crispy fried onions, freshly shaved parmesan, pepperoncini aioli and fennel, all sandwiched in a house-made focaccia, why wouldn’t it be?

Add another October feature to the list!

Joining the Big Turk this month is the Uncle Phil Cheesesteak, layered with shaved rib-eye, roasted mushrooms, onions, and peppers, a provolone and cheddar cheese blend, all on a toasted baguette.

Why are we doing two feature sandwiches again this month?
We just love crafting new sandwiches. You should see all of the combos we play with in the shop and haven’t shared yet!

We’ve got an October feature that gives you the jump on Turkey Day!

We’ve put together our own Thanksgiving inspired treat with oven roasted turkey breast, a creamy brie (look at that cheese melt), a house-made cranberry mayo,balsamic vinaigrette. and fresh arugula, all on a toasted focaccia bread.

October is turkey month and you can never have too much turkey!
Ask for the Big Turk — not the chocolate bar.

The Filthy is back!

The Filthy Animal was off the menu for a bit but we’ve brought it back and it seems that you are very happy about that. It has been a hot seller since being back and we can always tell who has ordered it before based on who asks for extra napkins.

We are closing the shop this Saturday to spend the day Fairweather Brewing Company for another sandwich pop-up.

We will be serving sandwiches from 2 pm to 9 pm (or until we sell out). If you’re coming for Comedy Night at 7pm, show up early and grab something to eat and drink before hand. Just order your food from the taproom with your beverage.

The menu:

Uncle Frank
Smoked beef tri-tip, roasted sauerkraut, honey mustard

Sullivan
Buttermilk fried chicken thigh, smokey pepper oil, piri-piri slaw, gruyere, kosher dill

Dr Feelgood
Grilled zucchini, sun-dried tomato relish, whipped ricotta, pickled red onion, arugula

Golden Beet Salad
Roasted beets, honeycrisp apple, green onion, radicchio, roasted feta, lemon chili dressing

The Uncle Frank is available while supplies last, meaning you may not have until the end of the month to try it so don’t sleep on it!

Some of you got first dibs at our Barrel Heart Taproom & Kitchen pop up and the reviews were ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
Inspired by a smoked meat sandwich but so much better, the Uncle Frank is a smoked beef tri-tip with roasted sauerkraut, and honey mustard. Simple but oh so delicious.
