UPDATE: We are learning that Epicure company has “Paused” not closed and that discussions are hopeful for another company to acquire Epicure. Epicure is in bankruptcy, not bankrupt. We hope to learn more in the coming days. 🤞

To my Epicure Customers, Family & Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news—yes, the rumours are true. Epicure has declared bankruptcy. The news feels surreal and completely unexpected. In the next week, we’ll learn more of what’s next to come. There’s definitely a market for their product line so it would be wonderful to see a buyer take over. Stayed tuned.

A company whose products I fell in “love at first bite” nearly 18 years ago. I became a consultant as a side passion from my daytime job a few years afterwards as my cupboards quickly filled with their clean ingredients & delicious products. Cooking became more exciting with their blended spices and recipes not to mention enjoying the creative side of sharing new recipes with money & time saving tips with others. My love of their products soon met with necessity when one of my children was diagnosed with Celiac at age 7 and needed a gluten free (gf) diet. Epicure was the perfect fit for my family. All of their products being Gluten free. ❤️

It was a pleasure and privilege in meeting so many wonderful people who opened their kitchens to me for cooking classes with their family & friends. The local clubs, a church and sports teams that reached out for support with their fundraising campaigns along with a handful of donations that brought me so much joy to be apart of these past 16 years. THANK YOU!

That famous Extraordinary Hot Cheese Dip recipe just got a little more priceless with its lack of product supply. 💔 A good reminder to enjoy today as tomorrow is not promised. Cook & Bake to enjoy! Nothing is more precious than cooking and sharing a meal with loved ones or baking with the kids while creating beautiful memories.

When you know….you know!

As soon as cooler weather hits, I like to have my comfort recipes on hand. These are some of my families favourites.

Stock up on a few, share a few, make a few dishes for your kids away at school or your senior parents that don’t cook that often. All great ideas for make ahead and freeze portions for reheating on chilly nights.

Ok, ok, you may think I went overboard by ordering 3sets (9 pkgs) of the Italian Meatball seasoning, but if you ever tried them, you would be hooked! These are by far, my absolute FAVOURITE meatball seasoning. I use to guess and toss spices together and my version was meh! So when this recipe blend came out, I was curious. Well, it was love at first bite!!! So now, I stock up and use 2 pkgs when I make and cook big batches to freeze for quick pasta dinners.

Seriously, the best meatballs ever!!
