It’s Pinot Noir day. Someone told me early on in my exploration of wine that when you come to truly appreciate Pinot Noir, you have arrived at the point of starting to understand wine. At the time I had no idea of what he meant, but now I do. I’m not sure I know of any grape that better expresses where it’s from, or the skill of the team that grew the grapes, and the person that made the wine from it. It’s the problem child that truly rewards when the stars align. And we live in a country where this grape is in its element. Whether it is the Okanagan, Vancouver Island, Niagara, or here in Prince Edward County. There is spectacular Pinot Noir from across the country. Savour something Canadian today.

First time in the County for our clients from Gatineau yesterday. They were incredibly impressed by the warmth, hospitality, wine diversity and quality at every one of our visits Stanners Vineyard Trail Estate Winery Morandin Wines and Marqs Meadery & Winery And for us there is nothing better than showcasing some of the amazing things happening here to people that have a role of exposing wines in the hospitality business

Our Ottawa clients on Sunday celebrated their anniversary with their first County visit and a tour with us. Christian Morandin kindly took them out to the vines on our visit to Morandin Wines and they thoroughly enjoyed our stops Lighthall Vineyards Grange of Prince Edward Winery and Rosehall Run Vineyards
