The herd has change a lot since the last time I have posted about them! Here is an update!

We own a part share of Tim with Triple H Farms! He has gone back home now so I feel that I should reintroduce/introduce the new girls and also show what the crosses could potentially produce!

If you are interested in certain crosses/colours let me know and I can add you to the wait list 😊 we are a clean tested and abscess free herd!

Click on each picture to learn more about the does and to meet our extra pal!

I haven’t updated this page is quite awhile! But the herd has changed a lot in the last year! There are no more horned does, only 2 does that are not blue eyed and we have gained a freeloader; Bilbo the fainting goat!

Thank you Holstein Heaven Hobby Farm for the opportunity to own Egg & Bilbo. Here are some updated herd photos!

Happy to say the 2024 kidding season is officially over 🥳 it was hands down the longest and hardest season I’ve had yet.

We started with 10 does but unfortunately lost Dot due to pregnancy complications. One of my replacement doelings lost her set of twins early on. Willow gave us our first live babies (Triplets) and it felt like we turned a corner! After Willow Dixie gave twin doelings (both are being retained as replacements). Next was Fern she gave triplet doelings and did amazing raising them (her first time)! Then Winnie true to herself kidded 4 (she has done this the last 4 kiddings) unfortunately 2 were still born and she abandoned a Doeling. It just worked out that Kanga (her Doeling from 2023) had kidded and lost both of hers. She took Winnie’s abandon Doeling and is doing an amazing job raising her! Rhubarb kidded triplet bucklings unassisted. Unfortunately one ended up with an umbilical hernia and had to be put down. Rhubarb was sold with her twins and has started her milk goat career! Bella kidded twins a buckling and Doeling (nigerian boer cross)! She did so unassisted and raising them perfectly! Last by about 2 weeks was Sally. She had triplets one was a still born and the other wasn’t doing well I took it inside to warm it up and Sally wouldn’t take her back. She unfortunately passed later that night.

I am SO happy the season is over. It was very difficult! I am thankful for my advisor Holstein Heaven Hobby Farm without Jasmine I might of gone completely crazy! And thankful for my husband who helped me pack moms and babies up to the stall in the barn.

Also thank you to Jasmine for letting me use her bucks Jack (purebred papered ND) and Huck (purebred unpapered ND)!

I am keeping 3 replacements! One of ferns and both of Dixie’s fingers crossed they inherited their mothers good parenting gene 🤞🏼

If you are looking for some baby goats I will have a few ready to go in June! The rest will be ready to go in July!
