Strawberries, raspberries, sweet corn, Honeycrisp apples and more local produce grown right here on our farm in Iroquois since 1957.

The 2026 strawberry season at Dentz’s has begun! 🍓

Fresh-picked strawberry baskets (4L, 2L, 1 quart), homemade jams and unpasteurized honey are now available, with more seasonal produce arriving soon (up next: sugar snap peas, cucumbers, and raspberries).

Strawberry season here on the farm runs from early June all the way into September or October, weather permitting. We have many different varieties on our farm that allow us to extend the season, with peak production occurring from June until mid-July.

Pick-your-own strawberries will open likely around mid June. Follow us to make sure you don’t miss that announcement.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to the farm!

Looking for a part-time opportunity that keeps you active, gets you out on the road early, and still leaves you with your afternoons free?

Dentz Orchards and Berry Farm is looking for a seasonal delivery driver for our Ottawa produce deliveries from June to October/November.

This position may be a great fit for someone who:
• enjoys early mornings
• is comfortable driving larger vehicles
• likes staying busy and active
• appreciates flexible, part-time work
• enjoys working independently
• would like some extra seasonal income

The role involves early morning deliveries into Ottawa using our 26’ Kenworth dock-height truck, including highway and city driving. Only a standard G class licence is required, along with a clean driving record.

This position could potentially be shared with someone who is only available a few mornings each week.

No formal resume is needed to start the conversation.

It’s time to put away the row covers that kept our strawberry plants protected from the cold.

Check out all the beautiful strawberry blossoms that were under cover.

This strawberry variety will be ready first. It usually takes around four weeks from blossom to berry.

Why do we plant raspberry canes in pots?

Planting long cane raspberry varieties in pots and growing them under protective cover in tunnels allows us to extend our season.

Now instead of two to three weeks of raspberries, we’ll have raspberries for you from July through to October.
