Saw this idea online but I can’t remember where. Made with Boursin and pretzels. Roll the Boursin into a ball and insert pretzels. Easy peasy! The stem is from a green pepper. Cutest pumpkin!

Tomorrow at the Bread Shed:

Sourdough is back!
Also, delicious Pastak Bread, traditional at Easter and Christmas but we are celebrating Thanksgiving with it!
We’ve also got some yummy brownies to hold you over until that Turkey 🦃 is ready!
And finally we have some “Starbucks copycat” pumpkin scones. Honestly sooo good!

September 26th
This week at the Bread Shed:

We’ve got some rustic white bread (with “some” whole wheat mixed in!
We’ve also got some incredibly yummy GINGERBREAD Muffins!
And of course, by request, Aztec cookies make a return!
Open Saturday - 8am to 1pm

Unfortunately no sourdough this week, I’m rebuilding my starter. Watch for its return next Saturday!

Well it’s been a minute!
Thank you all for your patience while I was in wedding mode and off island. Our beautiful daughter got married and I made her cake. We drove it to Ontario, stacked it there and prayed it was still reasonably ok!

Anyway, what’s happening with The Bread Shed you ask? Here we go!

After a few crazy busy weeks, we arrived home to PEI exhausted. My sourdough starter looks like it had a cardiac arrest. I’m rebuilding the starter, which I have named DOUGHris (like Doris). What this means is that it will take some time to get it to a stage that will be worthy of making good bread.

Therefore, no shed this week. I will be back baking for NEXT week, September 26th.

Watch for sourdough, Aztec Cookies, Cowboy Cookies, scones, and maybe a few more treats.

See you then! Oh, and here’s a picture of our daughter and new son-in-law!

We’ve got sourdough, zesty cheddar scones and cinnamon raisin scones!
Come on by, because…. This is our last shed day until the end of September (26th) as we are in wedding cake mode right now!

Stay tuned for fall goodies!
Pumpkin spice muffins, mini carrot cakes, cookies (and by special request Aztec cookies!) and bread of course!

We will be open until Christmas with lots of amazing Christmas cookies etc.

See you today, and then again on Sept 26!

Today at the bread shed:
We got sourdough, of course!
We’ve also got a few loaves of seeded sourdough.
How about some sourdough burger buns? Yup, got those too!
And for those with a sweet tooth, Aztec cookies.

**note: our sourdough is now $8. The loaves are much bigger .
