I recently went to BIG RIG Kitchen & Brewery in Ottawa with a big group after a game... We had people coming and going at different times and the staff were very accommodating... The service was great and the vibe was chill... I had the Texan Smash Burger and a Big Rig Premium Pilsener... Although I have had a better Smash burger in the past I thought the food was solid and hit the spot... Great place to check out

First time trying .... I ordered the Deluxe Meal and tried their signature Chick-fil-A Sauce... I quite enjoyed the meal but wasn't blown away either... Maybe I hyped it up in my head more than I should have... Either way still a solid meal

Hit up Lala's in Seeleys Bay a few weeks ago... It's a small town restaurant with a bit of everything on the menu... I tried the Spaghetti and Meat Sauce which is served with Garlic Toast and a Caesar Salad for $17.99... I was the only one dining in at the time but they seem to do a decent takeout business... I found the service to be subpar as I waited for every aspect of the process and had to remind the server for my salad... The portion size was decent but I also felt like it could have been a bit bigger and maybe an extra piece of toast... Overall though I thought the food was great and the people were nice and I would return in the future

Hit this place for breakfast a little while ago... The eggs weren't the most attractive even though I I flipped them over to show their better side but overall the breakfast hit the spot... It's still a new business with a few things to work through to hopefully keep improving

Always a good meal down at ... I have been known to stop by here every now and then for a beer and a bite... The menu has a bit of everything and great value... Live music... Good deals... Great Food... Be sure to check it out

Nepali Authentic Chicken Chow Mein

I hit up a newer spot in downtown Kingston for some takeout... I tried the Authentic Nepali Chow Mein with Chicken... Super fresh ingredients with a bit of a zip... I look forward to trying some other dishes on their menu in the future... Give it a try if you're downtown...

Surf and Turf Poutine

is back in town for the weekend... I've been to this event multiple times over the years so I've been able to try a few different types of poutines from a few different food trucks... This year I hit for a Surf and Turf Poutine and a Lobster Poutine... I also hit for a Big Mack Poutine... I really like Lobster and Hollandaise sauce so I knew I wouldn't be disappointed... If you have some free time this weekend be sure to hit up the festival at the Memorial Center

Oreo Funnel Cake
Chili Cheese Dog

Hit up to check out the scene and try some eats... The Oreo Funnel Cake was crazy good but super sweet... A Funnel Cake covered in icing sugar, crushed oreos, whip cream and chocolate sauce... I couldn't finish it... The hot dog was good and hit the spot but wasn't anything special... I played some games, checked out the farm animals and watched a motocross trick competition... Be sure to check it this weekend

Kingston Ribfest
Beef Bone
Half Rack

I hit up Kingston Ribfest which started today and runs until Sunday... Grabbed a Half Rack from @ and a Beef Bone from .... I got there early and people were starting to roll in but lines were only about 10 people deep at the time... I crushed the ribs handily and I'm taking the Beef Bone home to tackle with a knife... I try to support local events when I can because we would miss them if they didn't come to town...
