Rain again all day today called for lots getting done in the house👀

But ofcourse I couldn’t resist checking on all the kits aswell and I’m so I love with this little one.

Since the weather is very VERY wet today, a few of the rabbits got brought into the house to be weighed and work on handling/posing.
That’s right, bunnies in the house 😅🐰

As much as the handling was cute and fun, the positioning practise was mostly and will continue to be, for me 😂

Definitely still not a professional by any means, but I’m seeing some improvement on my end which is what counts 🙌🏼

I’m really happy with how Pie is coming along weight and shape wise. She will be spending a lot more time being handled over the next few weeks to get her a bit more comfortable with the idea of me bugging her. My intention is to set her up for a less stressful experience by the time she’s ready for her first litter. Hopefully we will get there 🤞🏼

She is a half sister to Lala and full sister to Poe🖤🐰

If you’re new to chickens, rabbits or just livestock in general, this is a great read.

If you see someone has been doing it for ages, I can guarantee you they still learn new things, face odd situations and have to overcome adversity. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE starts somewhere.
To the ones who’ve been doing it for ages, keep answering the questions. Make the suggestions and help look out for the newcomers. Let’s keep this way of life alive 🙏🏻❤️

After discovering that a pathetic percentage of sunflowers are coming up in the rows whether it be due to birds or who knows what, I have taken matters into my own hands.

Over 350 sunflowers have been seeded in the greenhouse. Because I simply refuse to fail.

It may not seem like “that big of a deal” but the sunflower fundraiser has grown extremely important to me over the years. This has gone beyond me enjoying flowers and putting bouquets together.
This is about spreading awareness, supporting where support is much needed and serving my community.

Now grow little seeds grow!🙏🏻🌻🌱
