The power has been out for a few hours now and we received a call two hours ago that there’s a good chance it may be out overnight😵‍💫

The GMC came through to the rescue for heating up leftovers for dinner!🍽️ Usually I’d start a fire and cook on it in this situation but with 100km winds, I wasn’t about to risk burning the county down and adding to the issues😅😂

Since it’s now dark out, candles have been lit and some of the solar lights from the yard have been brought in the house for the night🕯️

All the animals have been fed and watered and we have plenty of drinking water for us💦

I made a visit to Hashbrowns Homestead Supplies yesterday and picked myself up one of these chocolate milks from Lone Pine Jerseys & Creamery Ltd.

Firstly, the lovely cashier was right, I will never drink chocolate milk the same way again!🙌🏼

Secondly, this bottle was long gone within minutes of leaving and I regret not buying a second OR a bigger bottle😅🤷🏻‍♀️

If you get a chance to get your hands on one of these, or the bigger bottles, I highly recommend it! Absolutely delicious! 🥛🍫
