It started small when Alf Krause planted 1 acre of strawberries in 1974. Today, Krause Berry Farms & Estate Winery has expanded to over 200 acres, growing and producing some of the Fraser Valley's best berries and vegetables. Owned and operated by Alf & Sandee Krause, their commitment to ethical and sustainable farming has resulted in loyal guests spreading the word and returning year after year.

The abundance of delicious fresh berries & vegetables, combined with Sandee's creativity and passion for baking, led to the development of their ever expanding line of farm-made products available in their Market, Bakery, Fudgery, Creamery & Porch. Today the on-site farm Harvest Kitchen produces over 100 products grown. Come saddle up in our Estate Winery for a taste of the old west and our berry wines.

Introducing the Krause Chocolate Bar!

We are so excited to announce the opening of our brand-new Chocolate Bar, now open daily throughout the summer!

Indulge in our fresh, field-grown berries coated in decadent Callebaut Belgian chocolate. With both rich dark chocolate and creamy milk chocolate flowing on tap, your favourite berries are ready to be covered in chocolate perfection.

Customize your treat with a selection of seasonal toppings, or keep it simple and let the berries and chocolate shine on their own.

The Chocolate Bar will also be serving ice cream, cold drinks, and other sweet treats throughout the summer, making it the perfect stop during your visit to the farm.

❤️ Fresh Field-Grown Raspberries Are Here ❤️

We’re excited to announce that our own field-grown raspberries are now available at the farm.

Supplies are very limited each day and will likely sell out by midday, so we recommend visiting early if you’re hoping to take some home.

We also have a small crop of Golden Raspberries available daily. Quantities are extremely limited, as this is a specialty planting.

This has been the earliest season we’ve ever seen for both strawberries and raspberries. The warm spring brought the berries on much earlier than normal, but it has also resulted in shorter first crops and lower daily volumes than we typically see.

🍓 STRAWBERRY UPDATE

We remain very limited on fresh strawberries.

Strawberry U-Pick will continue through this weekend, after which the fields will need some time to recover before reopening.

We have already seen the peak of our first strawberry crop. The good news is that a second wave of berries is expected to begin in late June or early July.

Once the plants have had a chance to rest, we anticipate reopening Strawberry U-Pick and offering it throughout the remainder of the summer and into the fall season.

We are hopeful that Raspberry U-Pick will open on Wednesday, June 17, weather and field conditions permitting.

In the meantime, we’ll continue baking fresh berry pies, making our custard pies, and stocking the market with fresh berry treats each day. ❤️

We’re excited to welcome you back to the fields with extended farm hours all summer long. The farm is now open 7 days a week from 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.

🍓 We are so excited to announce that our fresh field grown strawberries are now available in store at the farm!

And that means all of the exciting strawberry treats are officially back for the season!

Now available in the market:
• Strawberry Custard Pies
• Strawberry Pie in a Jar
• Strawberry Shortcakes

And most exciting of all… Strawberry Waffles return to the farm starting tomorrow — Sunday, May 24th! 🧇🍓

We are also excited to share that our U-Pick season is now expected to open early on May 30th.

Fresh berries, strawberry shortcakes, and Pie in a Jar can also now be found at our newly opened Farm Store & Café.

Berry season hours are now in effect at the main farm. We are now open 7 days a week from 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM to better serve you throughout the season!

Berry season is beginning at Krause Berry Farms.

Our field-grown strawberries are expected to arrive around May 27th, and Strawberry U-Pick is currently expected to open June 5th, weather permitting.

Available now at the farm:
🌱 Field-grown asparagus — fresh from our fields and available at the bakery counter

Easter Weekend at the Farm 🐣🌷

It’s shaping up to be a beautiful, sunny weekend — and the perfect time to come out and visit us!

We’ll be serving up our Mini Egg Easter waffles, along with our classic Krause waffle topped with our blueberry compote. Both waffles are available in a gluten free / vegan option. Our waffle area is fully heated, so you can stay cozy no matter the weather.

The Market is fully restocked for spring with everything you need for Easter — gifting, kitchenware, and lots of new gourmet food items. We’ve got all the essentials for the Easter basket, including Rogers Chocolates, plus fresh scratch-made baking: cookies, donuts, pies, bread and more.

The Easter Bunny will be visiting the farm all day Saturday and Sunday, with Easter photo ops set up throughout the farm — perfect for photos and a fun day out with the kids.
