A huge thank you to our judge Andrew Hansford for traveling out to Saskatchewan to judge for us, solid placings and obvious reasons for placement.
And yes, our goats are “free of excess fleshing”
No one was fattened or show styled. Our herd shows and classifies in their true honest everyday condition.

And just as the group classes were approaching and I was short handed, who do I see?

Showing up like an angel in the night, Stephen jumps in and grabs the chain of the rankest smelling buck in the barn and away we go into the ring,

The Mystic Hills herd was awarded primer breeder!
I can’t begin to tell you how much this means to us here at Mystic Hills.
But I can tell you it didn’t happen overnight, it wasn’t without cost, losses, blood, sweat & tears but we sure are proud of the herd we have built over the last 9 years.
We are incredibly fortunate and grateful for this title and beautiful BIG buckle!
We will take a day to get our does back in their breeding groups and carry on!
