What a privilege it is to have a house where everyone loves to gather. And what a blessing it is to have friends who make your house feel like home. 🥰

Last weekend I invited my friends over and prepared the Pakistani style Chinese menu. Alhamdulilah everything was homemade. And the best part everyone loved it. 😋

Banana Pudding Ingredients:
●2 cups(480g) of whole milk
●1 can(397g) of condensed milk
●1 box of instant vanilla pudding mix
●3 cups heavy whipping cream
●3 tbsp sugar
●3 tsp vanilla extract
●2 boxes of vanilla wafer cookies
●5 large bananas

Instructions:
●In a medium bowl, add chilled milk, condensed milk, and vanilla pudding mix. Mix everything until well combined. Put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or until set. You can also put it in the fridge overnight, if you have time.

●Then, in a large mixing bowl, add chilled whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with the help of a hand mixer until stiff peaks are formed. Make sure not to over beat. Otherwise, cream will crumble and turn into butter. Now, saperate one cup of whipped whipping cream for garnishing in the end.

●Combine the prepared pudding mixture into the whipping cream mixture. Gently mix until combined, and your custard base is ready.

● Now, in your trifles bowl or any large servings bowl, add vanilla wafer cookies, then little bit of custard mixture, then again cookies, then bananas, then custard mixture. Repeat until your bowl is filled to the top. Garnish with the rest of the whipping cream and crushed cookies. Put it in the fridge for at least an hour before serving. Serve cold and enjoy 😉

Fun fact: Do you know Hawaiian Pizza has nothing to do with Hawaii? 😄 Hawaiian pizza was invented in 1962 by Sam Panopoulos, a Greek immigrant, at the Satellite Restaurant in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. Seeking a sweet-and-savory combination, he added canned pineapple to pizza, naming it "Hawaiian" after the brand of pineapple used. It was not created in Hawaii. 😋
