Applications are now open for the Tim Hickman Memorial Health and Safety Scholarship.

This $3,000 award supports full-time students studying occupational or public health and safety. Established nearly two decades ago in partnership with CUPE Locals 107 and 101, the scholarship honours Tim Hickman, a part-time City arena employee who lost his life on the job on March 23, 1996.

Eligible applicants must be:
• Enrolled full-time in a college or university
• Studying occupational and/or public health and safety
• Attending a Southwest or Central-West Ontario institution or a Canadian institution as a resident of the region
