Blueberry Chai Jam Bars

Ingredients:
125g unsalted butter, melted
100 g brown sugar
1 large egg
225 g flour
135 g rolled oats
1/2 tsp baking powder
Pinch salt
300 g blueberry chai jam (or your other preferred flavours!)

Preheat oven to 400° F
Mix butter and sugar
Add rest of ingredients except for the jam, mix until completely incorporated
Evenly pack 1 1/2 cups crumble into bottom of 8'' pan, lined with parchment paper
Spread jam over bottom layer
Spread leftover crumble lightly over jam
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until top layer is golden brown
Rest until set (~1-2 hours)
Cut into squares
Enjoy 😋

I just wanted to come on here and say how extremely grateful I am for everything that has come The Vee Hive way in the last year (which it'll be a full year in August!!!), but especially these last couple of months.

The support, kindness, and people have been a dream come true, and I can't stop thanking you all enough ♥️

This morning our Instagram page hit 500 followers! I was hoping to have access to a computer for it, but alas. I'll be fighting with canva on my phone for the next couple days as I prepare a treat for you guys. As a special thank you, we'll be doing a giving away, starting Monday, July 6th! I love capturing moments and scenes like this, and I can't wait to compare them to what we do in the future, and see how much we've grown and improved!!

Next Market!!
March 21-22!!
It'll be my last market for a few months as life's going to get busy with moves and job changes 🤭 🤭 (don't worry, you can still get jam by dming me!)
But this'll be my first two day event, I'm so excited!!!

Oh me, oh my!
This February is going to be HOT 🔥🥵
2 fermented hot sauces:
Tangy red - Red peppers, tomatoes, garlic, love
Earthy Mushroom - Four kinds of mushrooms! Sh*take, beech, white button and oyster. Paired with some delicious herbs, this is a unique tasty (hot) treat!
2 flavoured salts:
No wastage here! We take the leftover solids from the ferments and mix them within salt for some delicious seasonings that pack some heat!!
I'm so excited to share this with you all!
Bees may be sweet, but they can sting too!
Not a feature, these will be permanent offerings!
