I have a small herd. So when breeding times comes along I use marking harnesses so I know exactly when to expect babies. Then I lock them up like prisoners and we get it done within 7-10 days. This way I know everyone is safe and warm if babies decide to come at night. And there is no fighting lol everyone has their own space. This morning I’m getting to drink my coffee while they hang out and wait for breakfast haha 🤣

Got the barn cleaned out and fresh straw dragged in. One more task checked off before babies arrive and by the looks of Jade’s belly it will not be long now!

We are located south of Maidstone Saskatchewan and offer purebred Kiko, commercial/percentage Kiko, Boki (Boer Kiko cross) and commercial Boer goats.

I am a “retired” stay at home mom, professional grandma, combine pilot for our grain farming operation, and goat enthusiast.

All of our goats are raised with a high level of care and attention as well as regular vaccinations and testing.
