Today we’re serving up a proper plate of Stew Oxtail, Peas & Rice and Fry Plantain. Rich, tender oxtail falling off the bone, plenty gravy soaking into the rice, with sweet golden plantain on the side. 😍

The kind of lunch where halfway through the plate, everybody gets quiet because the food doing all the talking. 😂🇹🇹

Some foods don’t need an introduction. The minute you hear Bake & Shark, you already know the scene... hot fry bake, fresh out the oil, packed up with shark and all those flavours that bring you straight back home. 🇹🇹❤️

Today at Trini Island Cuisine, our Tuesday Special is BAKE & SHARK.

Freshly made bake.
Real shark.
Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and pineapple, dressed up with our sauces and made the Trini way. 😋

Today at Trini Island Cuisine, we’re serving up a proper pot of Chicken Pelau with Cole Slaw. Rich, seasoned, comforting and full of that Trini flavour that makes you think about home. 🇹🇹

That pelau where every grain of rice soak up the flavour, the chicken nice and tender, and a little creamy cole slaw on the side to bring everything together. 🤤

What a beautiful surprise today at Trini Island Cuisine!

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Anil and Kineta James, influencers visiting from Trinidad & Tobago, who surprised us by stopping in for lunch. 🇹🇹❤️

There’s something extra special about welcoming people from home into our restaurant here in Niagara Falls. You could be thousands of kilometres away from Trinidad, but the moment the conversation starts, the laughter begins and the food hits the table… somehow home doesn’t feel quite so far away.

For us, Trini Island Cuisine has always been about more than serving food.

It’s about representing our culture.
It’s about keeping the flavours and memories of Trinidad & Tobago alive.
And it’s about creating a little piece of home right here in Niagara Falls. 🇹🇹🇨🇦

🇹🇹 WHEN SOMEONE DRIVES FROM VAUGHAN TO NIAGARA FOR A TASTE OF HOME… ❤️

Some visits just hit different.

This customer came all the way from Vaughan, Ontario to Niagara Falls to support Trini Island Cuisine. And when somebody makes that drive just to sit at your table and taste your food, you don’t take that lightly.

Because for us, this has never been only about serving Trinidadian Food.

It’s about that first bite that takes you somewhere else.

Back to Sunday lunch and a kitchen full of smells you knew before you even opened the door.
