The best ingredients often come from the people who love you most. 🤍

Today we’re making our mint syrup with fresh mint grown in my mom’s garden.

Forty years ago, my sister and I were selling lemonade through the fence at S**ganappi Golf Course.

Today, our mom is still helping - this time by growing the mint that goes into The S**g™.

It’s a little reminder that great drinks don’t just start with great ingredients…

They start with family. ❤️

Every handful of mint tells a story, and we’re so grateful to share ours with you.

Canada Day was one for the books! 🇨🇦🍋

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at our very first festival with Orchid Tap Bar. 🤍🙌

From early morning setup to serving hundreds of handcrafted drinks, it was an unforgettable weekend. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported us, and made our launch so special. Sharing this experience and serving alongside my sister was the cherry on top 🥹 🍒

Orchid Tap Bar is officially set up at Thai Orchid Room! 🍋✨
After an unforgettable Canada Day launch, we’re bringing OTB home.

Stop by for handcrafted lemonades, nitro matcha, nitro cold brew, Thai iced tea, and artisan floats — available right here inside Thai Orchid Room.

Many of you asked us at the festival, “Can you add alcohol?” Since it was a family festival, we couldn’t. But here at Thai Orchid Room… yes, we can! 🍹 Our signature beverages can be enjoyed just the way you like them—spirited or spirit-free.
Grab a drink to go, or stay awhile and enjoy it on the patio. ☀️🌿
We’re still testing, refining, and building as we go… but we’re so excited to keep sharing this little dream with you.

Canada Day Celebrations – Part 2 🇨🇦❤️

Looking through these photos reminds us that this weekend was about so much more than serving drinks.

It was about seeing families gather, neighbours reconnect, children laugh, live music fill the park, and an entire community come together to celebrate Canada. It truly was an experience to remember.

One of our favourite parts of the festival was simply watching people slow down, enjoy the moment, and make memories together. The smiles and joy on everyone’s faces was priceless.

Lawrence Gowan absolutely rocked the stage 🎸, the fireworks lit up the night 🎆, and Kin Coulee Park couldn’t have been a more beautiful place to celebrate.

Thank you again to the organizers, volunteers, performers, vendors, and everyone who came out to make this one of the best Canada Day celebrations we’ve experienced! 🎉🙌🥳💞

🇨🇦 Canada Day Celebrations – Part 1 🍋❤️

What an unforgettable way to launch Orchid Tap Bar. 🥹🙌

First and foremost, thank you, Medicine Hat. To everyone who stopped by our booth, tried one of our drinks, shared a kind word, listened to our lemonade story, or simply cheered us on… thank you. We’re so grateful for your support. 🙏

Kin Coulee Park was buzzing with excitement, laughter, music, and community. A huge thank you to the incredible 🍁 The Official Medicine Hat Canada Day Festival 🇨🇦 organizers, staff, and volunteers. After setting up our own little booth, we quickly realized we had a lot to do… but you had so much more! 😅 Thank you for creating such a fantastic celebration for our city.

As our very first outdoor event, we learned so much. Every event is an opportunity to improve, refine our recipes, and create an even better experience.

One thing we learned? Coffee is still king! ☕ We completely sold out of our Nitro Cold Brew! Our Nitro Matcha was another huge hit—we ran out twice and had to stop to make more. 🍵💚

And of course… The S**g stole the show! 🍓🍋🌿 Especially as a float! Hearing “WOW… that’s SO good!” was music to our ears. 🎶

Perhaps the most meaningful moment of the weekend was having my sister and niece help launch the grown-up version of our little lemonade stand. 🥹🍋

Forty years ago, my sister and I sold lemonade together through the fence at S**ganappi Golf Course. This Canada Day, we stood side by side once again, this time with our daughters beside us.

Some dreams really do come full circle. ❤️

This weekend wasn’t just about launching a beverage cart. It was about celebrating family, community, and the journey that brought us here.
