Bath day! 🧼

It was finally warm enough to give Momma Secret a post-foaling bath, she sure enjoyed it. Baby Misty also didn’t mind getting spraying and a couple stains rubbed out, then proceeded to play in the puddle while I scrubbed her mom.

We are so excited to announce that Pirate is officially a Dad! 🏴‍☠️

SD Best Kept Secret foaled out a gorgeous bay and white filly last night just before 11pm. 🥰

She was a rockstar this morning for her IgG blood draw and passed with flying colours 🧪

We are considering offering our rising 2 year old (June 2024) filly by SD Tornado out of SD Best Kept Secret for sale.

WM Summer Breeze is a gorgeous, sweet filly that is currently working on her ground work and is a super quick learner! She hand walks off property with ease and enjoys working in the arena in hand, as well.

Priced according to her quality in CAD, payments an option, however she must be paid in full before leaving the property.

Secret and Candi are double doubles!

It’s a double double year! 🇨🇦☕️

Interestingly our mares are doubling up on the due dates this year… plus a couple other double double sort of things… 🤯

First up are Canatot des Terdrix Z (Candi) and our Gypsy mare, SD Best Kept Secret (Secret) who not only ovulated on the same day, but crazily enough both carried their last foals to 352 days! 😱

These two are ‘due’ May 17 (340 days) but we guess they will both go longer, May 29 is 352 days.

Next up are C-Sorpresa Z (Tessa) and Beaulieu’s Cool Centolina (Centi), both of these lovely mares are pregnant to the same stallion, the amazing, young Roark OBF. Same as Candi and Secret, both ovulated the same day!

Both Tessa and Centi have foaled previously with their past owners, however I don’t know that gestation length, alas, their ‘due’ date of 340 days is June 15.

How’s that for fun? 🤩💃

We are impatiently awaiting the arrival of PRR Pirate’s Gold’s first foal crop this year! Pirate has three foals due and first up will be our own SD Best Kept Secret’s foal. 🤩🤐🤫

With Pirate the product of two SD bred horses (SD Lionheart x SD Rose Gold), and Secret imported from SD Cobs herself, this foal is bound to be top quality.

Guaranteed to be tobiano, and either bay or black with a 50% chance of also being sabino this foal is 110% guaranteed to be absolutely adorable.

We are also expecting a crossbred with our top bred dressage mare, Felitsa (Fürst Romancier / Londonderry / Warkanson) and our lovely client is expecting with her mare SD Glorious Storm!
