It’s a very slow Saturday in the Dancing Dough kitchen.

I took the past week off from baking as I recovered from a cold, and although I am feeling better, energy levels are sitting at about a zero today so bear with me as I slowly get some goodies baked off! Pre-orders can be expected later this afternoon 🤗

We have a new loaf out there today, pumpkin chocolate swirl! 🍫🎃
As well as our usuals 👉🏼 classic, cheddar and cheddar jalapeño!

At the moment we only have sweet treats out in the stand. We will have a few bagels going out in a bit and tomorrow will be our big bread & bagel day!
Sometimes the days don’t go as planned but that’s okay, we keep going 😋🥯🥖🏃🏽‍♀️

Happy accident dinner rolls were made in the Dancing Dough kitchen today!

Proofing too fast, bland tasting bread, total panic: what happens when you completely forget salt in a massive batch of dough. ☠️😭

Luckily I caught my mistake before they were out in the stand to be sold. And thankfully I was able to turn the remaining unbaked loaves that sat in the fridge into delicious fluffy dinner rolls. A little salt during shaping + a brush of butter = Problem solved. They will go amazing beside a yummy dinner 😋

Lesson learned, don’t mix dough when you have a million things on your mind and only a few hours of sleep 🤷🏽‍♀️😅
