The countdown is on! In less than a month, the Gather East Culinary and Music Festival takes over the Rodd Miramichi River, September 25–27, for a weekend celebrating the incredible food, music, people and experiences of the East Coast.

THE OPEN TABLE | Friday, September 25
The festival begins with an elevated evening of food and music. Enjoy a welcoming reception with signature cocktails and local flavours, followed by a specially curated three-course dinner and concert with Dave & Jud Gunning.

To celebrate the launch of our festival tickets The Kilted Chef stopped by Rewind 95.9 for a chat with Darcey and shared all the details about the Gather East Culinary & Music Festival, and even made two new announcements!

Future Foodies – A brand-new hands-on culinary experience for youth. The Kilted Chef gave listeners a sneak peek, and tickets go on sale for this event next week!

The Lady Ashburnham (Mustard Pickles) Contest – A community pickle competition is coming to the festival, with more details to be announced soon!

Here’s what’s happening during festival weekend:

Friday: The Open Table – A multi-course culinary experience and concert with Dave Gunning and Jud Gunning.

Saturday: Local Experiences, Free Market with live stage, The Gathering, Lobster 101, and an evening of music with Joe H Henry, Kylie Fox and headliner Lennie Gallant.

Sunday: Brunch with The Kilted Chef & Friends, followed by our new Future Foodies youth culinary experience.
