The next generation of our laying hens is discovering the new chicken tractor and getting their dose of love.❤️
Currently pasture raised in the tractor that will be moved to a different grazing spot daily, these hens will soon be free-ranged.
Free-range laying hens enjoy a myriad of benefits compared to their caged counterparts. Firstly, they have access to a natural environment, allowing them to engage in natural behaviors like foraging, dust bathing, perching and an all-you-can-eat bug buffet, which promotes physical and psychological well-being. This leads to healthier birds, resulting in higher-quality eggs with superior nutritional value, including higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins. And let's be honest, happy hens make for some egg-cellent eggs, packed with all the goodness nature intended. Plus, who doesn't love the idea of chickens living their best lives, clucking around like they own the place? It's a win-win for everyone involved, including those who get to enjoy their delicious, free-range eggs guilt-free!
