Community, we could use a few helping hands this Saturday! 🤎

We're putting up our beautiful yurt, and we're looking for a small team of volunteers to help make it happen.

No special experience is necessary—just a willingness to lend a hand, work together, and spend a few hours helping us continue building this space for our community.

There is something to be said about the power of community, the uplifting roar of love gathered on the land. Many obstacles were faced in the days leading up to Art & Soul Fest, and on the day itself, we rose to the tears of the sky.
The gathering of all these beautiful souls, their belief in the vision, their willingness to brave the elements and dance beneath all their power, is what made this day the success that it was. We gathered, we laughed, we moved, we sang, we ate, and we danced in the rain.
Gratitude barely begins to describe what was felt on this day. Thank you to our community, to all the vendors, to all the attendees, to the happy laughter of children, and to those who held the tents through the torrential downpour THANK YOU

We are sad to share that this Sunday’s Seedling & Direct Seeding Workshop has been cancelled due to the forecasted rain.

While we were looking forward to gathering on the land and learning together with Kristen of YOUR FARMER & GARDEN CONSULTANT , the weather is unfortunately not on our side this time.

Join us on the land for a hands-on, beginner-friendly transplanting workshop with Kristen from 🌱

This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to build confidence in the garden, learn practical seasonal planting skills, and get hands-on experience with transplanting seedlings and direct seeding.

Together, we’ll cover the basics, ask questions, learn by doing, and spend time connecting with the land and community.

Please bring work gloves and any gardening tools you have available.

What a beautiful day on the land.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our foraging workshop at Roots Farm & Retreat. It was such a joy to spend the day learning, walking, gathering, asking questions, and connecting in community.

A very special thank you to Christine for sharing her knowledge, care, and deep respect for the plants around us. We are so grateful for the way you guided the group and helped us see the land with fresh eyes.

Days like this are exactly what Roots is about: community, learning, connection, and coming back into relationship with the natural world around us.

Thank you again to everyone who came out. We loved having you with us. 🌿

A little glimpse of what happens when the land starts offering itself back to us.

Christine spent time foraging at Roots Farm, gathering what the season had to offer and transforming some of it into something beautiful: dandelion wine and dandelion coffee.

Simple, seasonal, and rooted in connection to the land.

Another wonderful offering by is coming to Roots Farm & Retreat 🌿

Join local forager and bushcrafter Chris Maeri for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to make your own natural lip balm and skin salves using organic and locally foraged ingredients.

You’ll also take home your own small tin of salve created during the workshop.
