Our beef tomatoes are back!

When our tomato plants become less productive, our team replaces them with a new crop, which means there’s a brief window where they’re unavailable on our Marketplace.

After a few weeks’ wait, the first harvests have finally begun - just in time for your summer salads and sandwiches. 🍅

Bio-Saveur, an organic farm founded in 2013, has grown alongside us through many seasons. In the early days, Karl mainly grew onions, but today his fields are brimming with a wide variety of fruits and veg. Always eager to take on new challenges, he even grows certain varieties especially for Lufavores, like his beloved early-season strawberries.

Organic Quebec strawberries have arrived on the Marketplace! 🍓

Earlier this week, we paid a visit to our partner Karl at Bio-Saveur, and we’re thrilled to announce that his strawberry field has started to ripen. Quantities are super limited to start, but the mix of rain and sunshine expected over the next few days will soon bring us an abundance of everyone’s favourite berries.

Affordable, convenient, and the ultimate pantry MVP: cooking with dried beans doesn’t need to be intimidating.

Dry beans keep (almost) forever on the shelf! The night before, let them soak in plenty of water so they’re ready for action the next day. Then simmer them on the stove with a few aromatics, or let your slow cooker do the work. It’s that simple! 🌱
