Easter Holiday Hours 🐣

We’re closed Good Friday and Easter Monday… because even we deserve a little chocolate-induced coma 🍫😴

BUT—don’t panic if you suddenly remember you’re hosting Easter dinner (or your “I’m just popping by” kids turn into a full house overnight). We’ll be sneaking in and out of the kitchen all weekend like Easter bunnies with pulled pork and lasagnas 🐰

Translation: if you’re in a pinch, we can still save dinner 😉

Let’s talk pricing! 🥩

Recently we had to raise the price on our roast beef. Here’s a little fun (and slightly painful) fact — we sell our roast beef based on the cooked weight. When you buy raw beef and cook it, you lose almost half the weight in drippings and fat. That means a 50 lb roast only yields about 30
lbs of roast beef that we can actually slice and sell!

Beef prices are at record highs right now, and it continues to be our biggest seller, even compared to chicken, pork, and fish. Contrary to what some people think, small businesses don’t get special pricing from suppliers. We’re paying the same prices you see in the grocery store.

So when we all sit down to enjoy a good beef meal these days, it feels a little special… because let’s be honest — we might not be having it again next week! 😂
