What started in our kitchen, between late-night baking, kids running around, and a dream to share a little taste of Peru… turned into Munay. ❤️

We wanted to bring our favorite family recipes—tres leches, alfajores, carrot cake, and more—to our new home here in the Kootenays. With every dessert, we share not just flavors, but memories, traditions, and a lot of love.

Munay means “love” in Quechua, and for us, that’s exactly what this journey is all about: family, community, and sweet moments shared. 🍰✨

Our very first night market on Baker Street and… we SOLD OUT! 🎉 Every last alfajor, slice of carrot cake, chocolate cake, and tres leches was gone — and we couldn’t be more grateful. 💛

We’re still buzzing from all the love, the smiles, and the “OMG this is amazing!” reactions. Thank you for stopping by, trying something new, and supporting our little dream. 🥹

We’re so excited to be part of the upcoming Mother’s Day Market here in beautiful Nelson, BC!
