Lola - Experienced Registered Tennessee Walking Horse Mare
2014 | 15.3 hh | CRTWH & TWHBEA | $12,000
As part of the changes happening here at Adalon Farms, we are offering our beautiful Lola to a new home.
Lola has been my main riding horse since we purchased her as a coming four-year-old. Over the years we have covered many miles of trails, encountered countless obstacles and had a lot of adventures together. She has proven herself over and over to be an extremely reliable trail horse.
She has a wonderful ground-covering gait and is equally happy leading the group or following behind. She has been ridden alone extensively as well as with other horses. While trail riding has always been our focus, Lola has also had a fair amount of arena work.
She has been exposed to traffic, dogs, wildlife and all the usual things that come with real-world riding. She loads and hauls well and is an absolute angel for both the farrier and veterinarian. On the ground she is sweet, sensible and easy to handle.
Although she hasn't been ridden regularly in the past year, I wouldn't hesitate to load her up tomorrow and head out on the trail. She has never been one for silly business.
I would consider Lola best suited to a confident intermediate rider, although I believe she could also suit a confident beginner with appropriate supervision.
In addition to being a lovely riding horse, Lola is CRTWH and TWHBEA registered and a proven broodmare. She was an exceptional mother and is the dam of our beautiful palomino stallion Adalon's Narnian Knight (Aslan).
Lola would be a wonderful addition for someone looking for a mature, experienced and beautifully gaited trail partner, with the added value of being a proven registered mare should breeding be part of their future plans.
She has been a very important horse here for many years, so a good home matters enormously to us.
