I started Aurelius Fine Oils & Balsamics while still serving in the military as an answer to my uncle's question during a family dinner in Sacrofano, Italy in 2016: Would Canadians be interested in this olive oil? For 2 years I did small popups at bakeries and local markets on weekends. After getting out there and networking, I was lucky enough to start selling to a few top restaurants here in Ott

awa (Riviera, e18hteen, Whalesbone). Then in 2018, I decided to leave the military and open my retail tasting boutique in Wellington West. Since 2016 I have been personally importing and sourcing my products and catering to Ottawa's most elite chefs and critical foodies. Our authentic, small batch and artisanal products have garnered a strong reputation within those circles. We also offer an amazing quantity of flavoured olive oils and balsamic vinegars which will surely keep you coming back for more. One of the best meals we’ve had this year. No exaggeration. 🫒🔥

We’re popping up inside Raphaël Peruvian Cuisine at 380 Elgin right now — and last night we finally got to sit down and experience it ourselves.

The flavours? Incredible. Chef Lizardo has built something seriously special here. Our Coratina EVOO is on the menu, and our Balsamico Modena 3-Year is finishing the cheesecake dessert. Both are must try’s.
