If you split a worm in two, you do not get two earthworms! Myth busted. Great explaination by Renee Claude.

Lots of wormies packed and ready to go. Coming to a school near you.

These wormies are going to be used in garden towers to recycle scraps into nutrients for the plants to grow healthier.

What a beautiful day to be outdoors! We had a blast with Worm School today at Just Food 5th Fall Fest.

Over 50 kids made their own worm kits to take home, and spent so much time playing with worms.

Parents learnt a lot too! It made them feel a lot more comfortable about worms, and hopefully helps them think about starting a larger worm farm at home, for the kids.

The best part was hearing from parents how surprised they were to see the child playing with worms! Seeing other kids play also helps overcome that initial fear.

This is why our worm school programs are so impactful - we’re able to teach recycling in a simple, fun way and keep the kids and parents engrossed for a long time..

Great day at the Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB) ‘Fall Into The Outdoors’ event where we spoke to many teachers about Worm School, our fun k-12 classroom composting program. It was good to see so many friendly faces and hear positive experiences about our programming!

This is our 4th year partnering with the Catholic School Board on Worm School and the teachers are fans! They had loads of great things to say about our program and were bringing their friends to meet us and encouraging them to sign up.

Share this with a teacher friend who is most likely to adopt wormies in their classroom…
