I love the breed so much ❤️ Used to be Lucky Jewel Katahdins when I was a teenager. Got out of registered Katahdin sheep in 2003, and very excited to start back up again. Over 11 years experience with the breed and used to do a lot of trade shows and sheep shows to promote the breed. Enjoyed every minute of it. Would love to talk to any producers who have questions or advise to get back into them

again. My first ewe, Sadie, is off of a ewe named Jewel. It all started with Jewel. Thus the name Jewels Legacy Katahdins!! Here’s to new beginnings.

I hate that the fence is in the way cause they were standing so nice yesterday. The two show boys.
New legacy is off the tallest longest Katahdin Ram I have personally ever seen so you can tell he’s gonna be following his dads footsteps, biggie is thicker in a lot of places but shorter legged (he’s not small just looks shorter compared too Legacy)

Come join me in the show ring! 5 more days too get your entries in. I know it’s a busy time. It is for me as well. We are gone from home camping for 5 days, a week before the show. And working most the other days leading up and then I’m singing for a dance, and preparing and watching the online sale. We will be haying during grasslands, unless it’s raining so Jason will pretty much drop me and the girls and my friends daughter, who is coming to help me, off and set up camper and then I won’t see him till Sunday. Then we take off for swimming lessons the very next day for another 5 days. I’m tired just thinking about it. 😂

I weaned tonight. Remind me to never lamb in April again. Lambing was way too spread out for me making them harder to manage and they didn’t get into the creep feed well cause moms had them on pasture most the time. Nice lambs for mostly grass fed moms (been off grain for a month). Sad the best ewe lamb is a commercial ewe. She had been spoken for already. Off of new look and adlees ewe Leelee. She was raised a single so she is bigger than the twins and the triplets. One triplet is bigger than her though. I will weigh them at 90 days as I got their 60 day weights before. She is 67 days old the others were 69 days (triplets) and 67 days old for Maradees twins as well. I don’t mind weaning early but this is the earliest I’ve weaned lambs

The door can open a full 4 feet but we have it so it can be locked open at the width that it is right now. I can use the mini skid steer to clean my barn now. I love the door I made and then Jason put it up for me. And it’s been professionally wired as you can see! Love it!

This handsome thick fellow, Notorious B.I.G will S E L L at Grasslands! In my opinion Motos best son of the 3 sept born I have. Fastest gainer and just large everywhere. Lots of hip and width, missive barrel, excellent Bone and so masculine even as a lamb. He’s 9 months old, twin off of Kia and Moto. I really wanted to keep him but I have a lot of moto sons and can’t keep them all! Very fast maturation and large sc***um for a lamb! Should do well in any operation whether commercial or registered! Come check him out at the show.

He’s a mature ram now. The winter pic was just before I sold him. I used him to breed my ewes one summer but he never actually did except one of his group. Making arrangements at the moment. I kept all Jada daughters and never kept a son. Also I lost Jules and never kept a son from him either. If it doesn’t work out he’ll be available for someone else too purchase.

You could have a chance too own the only registered ram lamb off “Jag” MTN VIEW 3123J if your the lucky winner and choose him. He was going to be my keeper but the only way I was willing to let him go was to go as the champ if he’s chosen by the winner from the draw.
Hes a different styled ram from anything I’ve raised and he’s just gonna be big framed and I can’t wait too see how he matures.

New look and North wind. Sorry about picture quality. I will use new look one more time then he will move on to his new home. Judge said bring him back to Agribition but he was a handful the first time and I don’t feel like fighting him again in the ring.
I look forward to using North Wind too cross with motos lambs cause what moto lacks North steps up and fills that with his large frame. He’s just a cool ram. I’m liking the natural growth on these yearlings as they have been on just hay and grass for about 3 months.
