I know many of you have messaged us asking us for an update. There's not much to update. It's been 8 months since I walked out, no stormed out of a meeting and made the difficult decision to step away from a dream we had been working toward for many years.
We've spent a lot of time thinking about it since then and we don't want to give up on all the work that has already been completed. The money spent too. We’re exploring the idea of creating a destination country store with a beautiful patio, showcasing great local products and perhaps serving a selection of Ontario craft beverages from other local producers instead of making our own. This way we could build a much smaller building, hopefully saving on development charges.
Sometimes the original dream doesn't work out but that doesn't mean a better one isn't waiting around the corner. We still have our apple orchard and over 4,000 Christmas trees.
