Our breeding season has started on June 4. A little later as planned due to the flooding.
All breeding groups are sorted and out on good green pasture.

Today we got the first group of our cows out on dry pasture.This side of our farm is a bitch in dry conditions but at the moment we are thankful for it. We had to push the cows through a flooded area and a group of calves didn’t want to cross and ran back to to winter pen. Took us a while to gather them all and unite with their moms.
Unfortunately all our pasture we use to the north is under water. Hope everybody else is doing well.

He is semen tested with good results and ready to go. Very easy to handle.

4 commercial weaned heifer’s, 7 month old

3 purebred yearling bulls
1 commercial yearling bull, black great for heifers
1 commercial 2 year old bull, black smaller framed, we have used him for our heifers with great result

The bulls willbe semen tested April 15.
All our animals are on top herd health and fully vaccinated.

Today we have set the first breeding group of the year with our L Heifers from the last fall breeding program and our yearling bull Rangeland Nautilus 07N, a son of Andchrist Just Chrushing It. Looks like he has to be potentials to become our next herd bull.

There are some important traits to select on in breeding cattle. For us, the temperament is one of them. We like them with easy handling and our customers appreciate them as well.
Moving here Rangeland Journeyman 05J away from some cows in heat to the bull pens. He never missed chance.
All our bulls have this nice temperament.

Our calving time has started right on first due date with a beautiful build and energetic 85 Ib heifer calf, born quickly and unassisted.
She is sired by our Baxter son Karl 06K out of a Moovin Spotz Chrysler 74C granddaughter. This cow line never has disappointed us.
