End of Summer Update from The Chaos Cluck Stop🥚🐓
Unfortunately, our summer ended on a pretty heartbreaking note. Two dogs came onto our property and attacked our flock, leaving us with only 3 survivors. We are still on the lookout for the dogs and hoping to find their owners.
Losing almost our entire flock was devastating, especially after spending so much time building up our beautiful variety of hens and colourful eggs.
But The Chaos Cluck Stop isn’t done yet!
We’ve added some lovely new brown and white egg layers to the flock, and we’re happy to say that we are back to selling fresh eggs!
Unfortunately, we no longer have any of our blue or olive laying hens, so our egg cartons won’t be quite as colourful for a while. I’ll be keeping an eye out for some new hens and hatching eggs in the future so we can slowly rebuild our flock and bring back our beautiful egg rainbow. 🌈
For now, we’re thankful for our three survivors, our new additions, and a fresh start heading into fall!
