ABC Poultry Processing – Quesnel, BC

ABC Poultry Processing is a locally run Class A abattoir serving farmers and producers in the Cariboo and surrounding areas.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team for the 2026 processing season.
📅 Seasonal Position: May 15 – October 15
📍 Location: Quesnel, BC

Position Duties:
Assisting with poultry processing and packaging
Maintaining high food safety and sanitation standards
Cleaning and sanitizing work areas
Working efficiently as part of a small team
Following all plant safety procedures

Qualifications:
Dependable and punctual
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Food Safe certification is an asset
Agriculture or processing experience is an asset but not required

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in local agriculture, food processing, and supporting regional farmers.

Our books are open! 🐓

ABC Poultry Processing Plant will be open May 20 to October 15.

We process broilers, spent hens, roosters, heritage poultry, pheasants, and turkeys.

The facility is government inspected, and all products are vacuum sealed and properly labeled for resale.

Work Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Hours: Vary depending on production needs
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive physical tasks
Experience: No previous experience required – we are willing to train the right candidate!
