Something that made me think. I have been through a lot that has really altered my path in life, and it can be very frustrating at times bc I had other plans for my life. Having a broken rod again and waiting for more surgery that could be another year still bc of our messed up healthcare system means that I don't get to live my life the way I want to. There are many things I can't do that a normal person can. Also, having to deal with the stress of whether a fall has further compromised the rod or not is tough. Dealing with having to always think about whether I can do activities without affecting the rod further is frustrating, too.
Although I have definitely learned lessons through all that life has thrown at me, and I am grateful for it. I have had experiences that have been positive that I otherwise wouldn't have had. Anyways, it's just something that really made me think. 😊 maybe it is helpful to someone else as well. Today I am holding my head high and doing what I can.
