This is locally raised pork, sold by rail weight, capped at 220 lb.
Pricing (no surprises):
• $3.00/lb rail weight (hog)
• $2.70/lb rail weight (processing)
• Rail weight capped at 220 lb
✔ All cuts included: bacon, ham, chops, roasts, roasts
✔ Professionally cut & wrapped - government inspected
✔ Known farm – no water-added pork
✔ Typically works out to ~$7–8/lb freezer weight all-in

We’re pleased to offer Berkshire X hogs, raised the way nature intended—outside with access to fresh water, grass, fruits, veggies, hay, barley straw, and quality feed. These hogs are cared for with dedication to ensure superior flavor and quality.

What to Expect:

Availability: Jan. 20, 2025

Rail Weight: Expected rail weight of 200+ lbs.

Butcher: Reads Custom Butcher Shop in Bashaw. Government inspected for your peace of mind.

Pricing:

$3.00/lb rail weight - to us.
We transport the hogs to the processing facility. You pick up when ready.

Cutting cost, including curing/smoke, and disposal fees.
$2.75/lb (approx) based on rail weight, payable directly to the butcher. If you do your own curing/smoking - that's ok. The processing costs are less!
